Junk Free June

I need to lose weight. This is something I already know. I've done alright so far, and lost just over a stone without changing my diet too drastically. However, I've found myself starting to slip back into my old ways, and ordering takeaways a lot more often than I really should be. A few weeks ago, I realised that I had hit bottom, after ordering food FOUR TIMES THAT WEEK. Nightmare. Not only is it super unhealthy, I am pissing my money away with it!

Looking back at my 2016 goals, I’m doing alright with everything but cooking more. So this is something I want to actively work on. So Reviews á la Mode and I are doing Junk Free June. More specifically, we are completely cutting out takeaways and making an active effort to eat better, and I know if I blog about it then I can't back out!

I haven’t strayed too far for too long, so LUCKILY I haven’t put on any weight (surprisingly) but I’m sure it’s hindering me from losing more weight as quickly as I could be. The only rules I’ve set myself are:
  • No takeaways/fast food

  • Make a conscious effort to eat better.
It’s as simple as that really. Now, I know a lot of you reading this will be like “Damn bitch, that isn’t even hard.” Seriously though, I’m lazy as fuck when it comes to cooking. It stresses me out no end, but it’s something I’m going to have to work on. THAT’S WHAT REAL ADULTS DO.
