2016 Goals: Checking in

Blogger journal, gem necklace and skull money box on white background

It's been a little while since I've updated you all with how I'm doing with my 2016 Goals, hasn't it? A lot has been going on, and it's hard to keep up with where I am daily! Last time I wrote about this was back in February so I think I'm due an update.

Pay off at least one of my debts
I’m still working on this one! I made a grand gesture of cutting up my credit card, so I would stop freaking using it, which has (unsurprisingly) worked. I’m confident I’ll have at least ONE thing paid off by the end of the year.

Also, can we just talk about that skull money box that I got for my loose change? I love it!

Cook more
This has just been a grand disaster. I cook as much as I used to (read: barely).

Be more organised
I was doing so well with this, then about a month ago, it all kind of fell apart. The flat was a tip, my blog work took a hit, and my whole life felt like it screeched to a sudden halt. I had absolutely no motivation to do anything. I’ve gotten my mojo back, and I’m working at piecing everything back together. I’m also more ready than ever to get my blog back on track, and I absolutely adore this Blogger Planner that I got for my birthday.

Take care of myself
I’ve got to admit; I’ve not been as dedicated to losing weight for the past month as I should be. Other things have cropped up, and I’ve done a lot to try and avoid it. I’ve made arrangements to see my GP to address a few things, and I still have hospital appointments to keep me on track for surgery.

Something I should probably be taking from this check in is that I’ve really let things slip, and I need to get back on track. It feels like I’ve been in a constant battle with myself for the past few months, and I’m on an up at the minute. So let’s try and keep it that way, shall we?

  1. That skull moneybox is awesome! Having a cool money box must really encourage you to save, what a great idea! These were really positive goals, I definitely think that taking care of yourself is a big priority - you deserve it!
