#LIVHelps

LivHelps inside Dough Bar

I absolutely adore blogging events, and I was lucky enough to be invited to #LivHelps, hosted by the wonderful Sammy, in one of my favourite bars. As I’m sure you all know if you follow me on any social media, I always seem to be in Dough Bar, so I was pretty pleased when they came to the rescue after an issue with a previous venue!

Dough Bar looked after us bloggers very well. After playing host to us rowdy lot for #LPPEvent, I was sure they’d never have us back! I just can’t help myself when it comes to 2 cocktails for £5.
LivHelps was a lot different to any blogger events I’ve ever been to because it was SO CHILL. It was so nice to just get to sit around, chat to and mingle with other bloggers, and most importantly – to get drunk. I normally always meet bloggers in passing at events and never get a chance to sit down and actually get to know them. We all got to know each other, and we all raised money for some amazing charities. We spent the afternoon swapping emails, business cards, and gossip (obviously). I didn't get as many pictures as I normally do because I spent so much time enjoying myself - bad blogger!

One of the best things I took from LivHelps wasn’t the fabulous goodie bag (which I will get to), but it was a whole lot of love for the Liverpool/North West blogging community. It can all be completely shit sometimes, but being surrounded by so many amazing individuals reminded me of how awesome it can be. When you meet people that literally couldn’t give a shit how many followers they have, because they blog for the enjoyment, it’s such a refreshing moment. It was a kind reminder that sometimes you really do meet people that will love and support you literally no matter what.
Not only was the event one to remember, but the goodie bag was probably the biggest one I’ve ever had (Hah, phrasing).

I cannot say a big enough thank you to Sam and Dough Bar for putting in so much hard work, and all the brands that got involved in making this such a great event. I came away with some valuable advice and some amazing friends. I can't wait for your winter event!
