The Isle of Man: A Weekend in Pictures

Last weekend, Dave and I took a little impromptu trip to the Isle of Man.

I fully intended to write a full blog on my trip, but that kind of went to shit. I spent a lot of time just...enjoying my time with Dave. We went on plenty of little trips during our visit. We visited Peel Castle, Castletown, Ballasalla, and explored the hustle and bustle of Douglas.

It was the ferry ride over that threw me off of my blogging groove, if I'm honest. It was such an awful journey through a storm that I spent at least two hours of the three-hour journey in the toilet on my knees (and not in a good way, ifyouknowwhatimean).

I was honestly surprised by how much I loved the Isle of Man. The steam railway and the little town of Peel were firm favourites of mine.

The pictures really speak for themselves, but if you love the coupling of old-fashioned traditions with modern conveniences, the Isle of Man is one for you to visit.

Never not working.

Dave was really mad I wanted this picture because there was a giant spider.

If you look reeeeeeally closely, Dave is pretty sure he can see Belfast.

We also smashed an escape room, and if you're surprised, you definitely don't know us. This is taken from their Facebook page, so sorry for crappy quality.
